FOR THE LOVE OF DOGS
Published: May 10, 2024
We tend to share in any worries and sorrows, but we noticed we have started feeling worried for the dogs and sorry for the crew more and more often than we do for Ethan and Hila as dog parents. Seeing how laid-back Ethan was while getting bitten and hurt by Ducky, which didn't seem to be played off or up for the camera, showed how little discipline there is at play.
With it being in the comfort of their home, we wouldn't really mind how untrained and free the dogs are, though one could argue subjecting others to that is still uncalled for, be it family members and especially little kids, nannies, maids, babysitters, or the like. Even if those people are perfectly fine being with dogs or agreed to that, being with untrained ones is a different beast altogether, let alone elsewhere, like at the office.
We do believe Ethan and Hila are sweet and loving dog parents, but very much like with real children, being overly permissive and neglectful isn't the best way to go, nor is it the most loving and caring. For everyone's well-being, very much including the dogs' own, we would really like to see at least Ducky getting trained, before anything bad happens and it'd be too late.
